CONFETTI CAKE BALLS

To make these super yummy cake balls, start with a cake mix to make the job easier. Cute, delicious, AND semi-homemade.

Cake balls are perfect for gift giving and they’re easily made into cake pops! Cute to use as party favors or to just serve as a fun and festive dessert or snack.

Pull out your favorite decorating sprinkles and have some fun!

INGREDIENTS (Makes 38)

½ C. butter, softened
½ C. sugar
1 C. vanilla cake mix (or flavor of your choice)
1½ C. flour
⅛ tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
¼ C. milk
2 T. decorating sprinkles, plus more for decorating the top
8 squares almond bark

DIRECTIONS

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set a wire rack on top; coat the rack with cooking spray.

In a big bowl, mix the butter and sugar until well combined. Beat in the cake mix, flour, salt, and vanilla. Add the milk and blend until it becomes a dough-like consistency. Stir in 2 tablespoons of the decorating sprinkles. Roll into 1″ balls and set on the prepped baking sheet. Chill for 15 minutes.

Melt the almond bark according to the package instructions; stir until smooth. Using a fork or skewer, dip each ball into the melted bark; remove, letting excess drip off. Set on the prepped rack and scatter additional sprinkles on top. Continue with the remaining cake balls.

Chill until the coating is dry.
