Charlie's Scrambled Egg & Sausage Bake
CHARLIE’S SCRAMBLED EGG & SAUSAGE BAKE
Here’s a delicious breakfast dish your whole family will enjoy. Plenty of protein packed in each serving, with a spicy southwestern kick to wake up those tastebuds.
INGREDIENTS
6 eggs
2 lbs. Ground Sausage
2 cans Cream Of Celery Soup
1/2 soup can whole milk
2 small cans Green Chiles
2 cups cooked white or brown rice
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat over to 350 degrees
Cook Ground Sausage until all the pink is gone.
Cook the white or brown rice until fluffy
Crack 6 eggs into a large mixing bowl and whisk until blended
Add the 2 cans of Cream of Celery Soup
Add 1/2 soup can of whole milk
Add 2 cans of diced green chiles, then blend all the ingredients
Grease a 9 1/2″ x 13″ baking dish with Olive Oil or cooking spray
Add the drained cooked sausage evenly on the bottom of baking dish
Add the cooked rice on top of the sausage.
Spread the cheddar cheese over the rice layer
Pour the egg/soup mix over the top of the cheese
Bake in 350 degree over, uncovered, for 60-65 minutes or when done.
Using a knife, mark out 12 servings.
Serve with any condiments your family is used to.
