Being on the road full-time since May of 2026, he’s self-described as an ‘Old School-Independent Conservative-Patriot-Retired But Not ‘Expired’-Vietnam Era Veteran-Blogger-Vlogger-Author-Graphic Designer-Traveler-Explorer-Food Lover-Widower

In other words he’s a man who’s experienced a lot in his 75+ years. His culinary talents began as a 6 year-old latch key kid growing up in Southern California, who along with his older brother gained the trust of their single Mom parent to safely survive their own cooking on occasion. That experience grew into a love for cooking that continues to this day.

His other website that has seen multiple revisions over the years spawned a limited video channel that included some ‘In Charlie’s Kitchen’ videos that can be accessed on YouTube.
